until which chamber volume can we use "standard" gasoline for you?
Did you measure all chambers? If you did, did you find any difference between them?

Well it's really the case of ignition timing. You can use crappy gasoline, but power will be lower. I will see if I will be able to run it on the same map with 95 gasoline. But probably we'll make some adjustments and I will upload the map on standalone ECU when I'll go to places I'll suspect won't sell 100 octane gasoline.

Sorry for such an unconclusive answer, but I don't think there's an answer that would fit all situations and engine configurations, but as a rule of thumb I'd say low 11:1 region is safe with 95 octane while still making decent power. But again I'm no engine mapping expert (I leave this part to my friends), I'm sure you guys have some experts on here, who greatly surpass my level of knowledge on these matters.

I made some progress on my inlet manifold. It's all weleded together. Now I have to make some fine corrections with the dremel and then it's off to the machine shop again to CNC some slots for ITBs and o-rings. Then I have to take to to another machine shop to skim the faces, because due to welding metal warps a little bit. Then drill some holes and it's almost done! :D

After all that, I will anodise it. I haven't yet decided in what colour. :)
