Hi, thanks for your concern.. I purchased these 2 bearings from mes pieces auto but they had some imperfections that made me keep the old ones. The oil pump turns fine by hand when it is disassembled, same does the oil pump shaft. Anyway, I moved the oil pump just a bit and it seems to be fine now..

Hi, pump is a new kolbenschmidt made in Germany.. I turn the shaft without the timing belt and at a certain point it gets a bit hursh.. No visual reason.. Has anybody turned the shaft by hand out of curiosity? Does it turn 100% freely?

Greetings to you all! I've just assembled the bottom end of an 710 engine and I think there is a problem. I assembled the new oil pump and when I turn the shaft that moves it through the timing belt it seems to get a little bit stuck at a certain point. Not much but noticeable.. Of course everything...
